The Ryan Brothers Story
Documentary // Makers & Trades
Overview
Mark Ryan sits down inside the Ryan Brothers Inc. shop to trace the company back through the generations — a family woodworking business, the trade it was built on, and what it takes to keep it standing. Filmed where the work actually happens, with the machines and the sawdust left in.
Creative approach
No narration, no script. The camera stays on Mark and lets the shop be the set, with the family history carried by his own account of it. The cut favors his voice and the room over polish.
