Production notes
Working in Northern Illinois conditions
Four real seasons
Northern Illinois runs from humid summers to hard winters. Shot lists are built around the season — snow, fall color and summer green each carry a different look, and the production day is planned to the light window that fits it.
Rural access and logistics
County-road and farm-location shoots are common in the Dixon area. Access, parking and a lean crew footprint are confirmed in pre-production so the day runs clean on site.
Travel is built into the quote
Overboard Media is based in Orlando, so travel to Dixon and Northern Illinois is scoped upfront — flights, drive time and lodging are accounted for before booking, not added after.
Indoor and outdoor in one day
A single production day can move from a cold exterior to a heated interior. Gear plans account for the temperature swing so lenses and sensors settle before the next setup.
Based in Orlando, traveling to Dixon.
Overboard Media is an independent one-person production practice based in Orlando, Florida. Production travel to Dixon, IL and the surrounding Northern Illinois region is scoped per project and confirmed before booking — so there are no surprises in the quote.
